FROM MARC
... TO MATERIAL
GROWN IN FRANCE, MADE IN ITALY
Our key raw material begins in the vineyards of Provence, France – where winemaking is not just a craft, but a culture.
The vineyards that surround us are tendered to and nurtured all the year round, resulting in the annual harvest in the end of August and the beginning of September, when the differing varieties of grapes are pressed for the rosé, white and red wines of Provence.
Once pressed for the wines, the grape skins, seeds, and stalks are considered as waste. This waste also known as “grape marc”, is what we work with.
We collect the grape marc directly from our partner organic Chateaux and Domaines, we transform it in Provence and then we send it to Milan, Italy, to our partner manufacturer to be made into our Biomaterials for the Fashion, Design, and Lifestyle worlds.
Our supply chain is made to be local, with as few stages and as few elements as possible. Local means creating a nearby community with shared values. Local means having a low carbon footprint and being planet respectful through shorter transportation routes. Local also means a reduced risk supply chain.

FROM TERROIR TO TEXTILE
Rooted in the same terroir as Provence’s finest organic wines, our grape marc — skins, seeds, and stems left after pressing — become the base of a new-generation biomaterial: high-performance, ethical, and rich in origin.
We have intentionally designed and developed our materials to be responsible and respectful right from the start and we are by no means stopping here.
EU REACH COMPLIANT | All of our processes and ingredients adhere to the strict EU regulations, protecting everyone in our supply chain.
100% ANIMAL-FREE | We have consciously chosen to keep all animal skins out of our supply chain.
TRACEABLE | Our main raw material, the grape marc, is sourced from Châteaux and Domaines whom we know personally. We even participate in some of the annual harvests of our local vineyards.
BIO-BASED & EVOLVING | We currently use a bio-PU blend for longevity, durability and softness. It includes conventional PU, which we are openly working to phase out, as better and more performant alternatives emerge on the market. Right now our materials are up to 80,5 % Biobased.
COLLABORATIVE R&D | We continuously co-create and problem-solve with material scientists, operation specialists, laboratory technicians, manufacturers, designers and brands to innovate, improve and scale responsibly together.
LOW IMPACT BY DESIGN | Our supply chain has been intentionally engineered for a low carbon footprint: deliberately short, fully traceable, and respectful of both people and the planet. Our primary feedstock, grape marc, is sourced and processed entirely within a 500-kilometre radius. All core activities — including material formulation, process development, and manufacturing — are performed within this same regional perimeter. Some essential ingredients are procured from beyond this area, as they simply are not produced locally, such as cotton; however, the fundamental structure and value chain of the material are predominantly regional.

Consider us as an extension of your own Design, Buying, Sourcing, Sustainable and Technical teams.
It was when I learned—and reflected on—the fact that up to 95% of a product’s environmental impact comes from its materials, that I began experimenting in my own kitchen, determined to create something with a lower footprint and rooted locally in my surrounding vineyards.
